Can dogs eat pork?? we are going to a pig roast this weekend and while i will not be giving Layla TONS, i was hoping to let her try some... is it ok for them???

I dont think so I read somewhere on here that it was very bad for them-- something to do with the pancreas. I will try to search and find it.

I wouldn't take that chance. Instead, just take her a veggie burger so she can eat along with everyone else. She will not know the difference.

Thats one thing My two yorkies cant handle, My hubby gave mine a few bites of pork one day, and they both was so sick for three days, I thought I was going to lose them both, Please dont give them pork.

Oh my, I have never given my furkids any pork, but had no idea that it could be bad for them!!! I am glad that I know now!!

I used to feed my others ham and my Mom would give them bacon because I hadnt ever heard of this.... but after I joined here... Rules of the Road--- NO PORK!!!!!!
