I'm not crazy! I haven't logged into Yorkietalk in the longest time but right in front of me is Nina humping Bartholomew. She first smells his penis than she jumps on his back and hump him. He's fixed, she's not. She had a litter a year ago and her last heat cycle was 2-3 months ago. What is wrong with Nina? Oh god.. there she goes again!!

she's showing dominance. our older lab does this sometimes to edgar. she did it alot when he was younger.

So it's not the heat or hormones.. I guess it's not that bad them. Should I say "No!!" when she does it?

Definatley a dominance trait nothing to worry you. She is simply telling him she is the boss and what I want I get! lol I would tell her No!

well, if you would tell your male to stop humping, you should also tell her to stop. this is of course, your preference.

I'll for girl power but it just looks weird... especially since he's wearing a bow tie and she's got cute little bows on ther ears... I prefer her as the girl. I think I will intervene.

lol Well I have a very dominant female as other YT'ers can attest to (tdessaur) she just CRACKS UP when she sees Bella flashing her "super woman strength" she bullies EVERY dog no matter size or breed, if a dog pees in our yard she goes over and hikes her leg and pees over it. tdessaur has seen her hike her lil 3 inch leg about ohhhh 20 times (no joke) in about an hour. SHe sticks her chest out and stands over any dog trying to show any kind of dominance (or if they are just breathing lol) SHe is a very very sweet dog and everyone loves her to pieces, but seriously she is the most dominant dog I have ever owned and keep in mind I bred Rotties for 5 years!!! My stud was a German Rottie that weighed about 140 in his prime (solid muscle) and I would lay odds Bella would have him punked out in a matter of a few moments. I think its great and I admire her confidence! All 4 pounds 11 pounces of her furry butt! Here is a pic of her, doesnt she look intimidating???

I have a female poodle that does that, and it drives me crazy. I keep telling her no, and she looks at me like, but it's fun.

Tiffany did this last month when she was in heat for the first time, not to a dog but to my elbow...

Sassy has been doing this to my cat lately! (Poor kitty...) I was wondering why she would. Now I know!

She *definitely* thinks she's the cat's boss.
