| WELCOME!!! Let's see pictures I hear that Canidae is a great food but in my opinion homecooking and raw is the best.. but not for everyone! Healthy treats are generally ones where you look at the ingredients and they are things you would eat!! no gluten or soy powerder, REAL ingredients.... chicken.... beef.... I make a peanut butter treat for Layla that she LOVES! but i will also buy treats that say "all natural".. generally smaller petstores (like whever you are buying your Canidae) will have great treats too!! |

| I switched Conner to Canidae from Merricks dry. He loves the Canidae and I think I will stick with this food. He is very finicky with his dry food. I received samples from many companies, and the Canidae was the one he liked best.

| Yes, you are feeding a high quality kibble Many YT members feed this food to their yorkies. To answer your question, we homecook for our furbabies which I love doing. We cook enough to last them 3-4 weeks and then freeze in 2 day portions in freezer bags. When you homecook you have to add calcium and other supplements though. I like Dr. Pitcairn's complete guide to health for a book to get started. As far as treats go, my furbabies only get natural treats like apple bits(peeled, no seeds), watermelon(seedless), carrots, other veggies, fruits (no seeds-they're toxic to dogs), organic plain nonfat yogurt with fruit added, nonfat cottage cheese. You can boil some chicken and shred it and keep it in the refrigerator.
