Yes, you are feeding a high quality kibble Many YT members feed this food to their yorkies.
To answer your question, we homecook for our furbabies which I love doing. We cook enough to last them 3-4 weeks and then freeze in 2 day portions in freezer bags. When you homecook you have to add calcium and other supplements though. I like Dr. Pitcairn's complete guide to health for a book to get started.
As far as treats go, my furbabies only get natural treats like apple bits(peeled, no seeds), watermelon(seedless), carrots, other veggies, fruits (no seeds-they're toxic to dogs), organic plain nonfat yogurt with fruit added, nonfat cottage cheese. You can boil some chicken and shred it and keep it in the refrigerator.
