Do yo fee Evo?

A couple days ago when I picked Jasper up from the groomers,I took soom samples of evo chicken and red meat small bitees.He really likes the chicken. He is 41/2 months old on eukenuba,I was originally going to gradually switch him to royal canin but now am considering Evo.Any opinions and exerience would be greatly appreciated!

I feed the chicken EVO it is really high in protein (42%), but my vet said it was fine as long as Teddy was healthy - no problems with liver, etc. I don't think it is recommended for puppies though - check w/ your vet to be sure

Many people feed Innova Here's a good website that rates dog foods and tells you the pros and cons about each of them. www.dogfoodanalysis.com
Try to stick with 4 and 5 star foods...It is said that the 6 star foods are too high in protein. Also, if your baby is a pup, make sure it's a food for all life stages.

I mix Innova Evo and Canidea both my babies love it. I alos give Diggy some Chickensoup for the puppy lovers soul. Id get off Eukaneuba fast as I believe Iams makes that food and some Iams has been recalled.......this whole food recall thing is scary!!!!

Mine love Innovo EVO Red Meat Small Bites but his poop's been kinda of soft and gooey. It's not wet. It's more like gooey putty (sorry about the visual). He's been on it for 3 weeks now. I merged it for 10 days making sure to introduce it to him slowly.

The other bad part is the smelly poop. I had to air out the room plus cleaning up the smears is a pain!

I think I might have to switch after this bag is over.

His old food was NUTRO Natural Choice Chicken, Rice & Oatmeal formula.

That seems a little high in protein for little dogs like Yorkies. I would stick to around 28% protein. Evo is a good food.

THE SAME HERE!!! I went through a bag of the standard EVO, and thought I would try the Red Meat. The poop has been gooey and extra stinky. I think I might have to switch back as well...

Also, my yorkie is 4.5 lbs. Is 42% protein too high for her? Both the standard EVO and RM both have 42% protein...

I came home to find my kitchen floor covered with his poop. It's like black mashed potatoes (again please pardon the descriptions).

I think I will switch back soon! It's been a month and the poop's still the same. He was fine with other foods. Perhaps he's not adjusting too well to this.

Normaly i feed Natural Balance Ultra, and mix a handful of Evo in with it !
