what did the vet say your puppy has that is causing the hair not to grow back. mine thinks annie may have alopecia which means hairlessness. my vet did a hair folical test to see if she has the alopecia. annie also has very dry patches on her skin where the hair is thin. the vet did a skin scrape to see if she has mange, mites or ringworms. i am very anxious to find out what is wrong. good luck with your puppy!

Both vets dont know exactly what is wrong with him? One of them wants to do a poop test. They are very puzzled by it and dont really have a answer for me. The last one says it abnormal hair growth and the hair is thinning out. She did a skin scrape also but didnt find out anything. Please let me know when you find out something. I will post some pics of his loss hair later.

| Does he chew on his legs and paws? did they do a scrape for mange/mites? Or is it just hair loss with no itching or scratching?

No, he doesnt chew on his legs or tail. The vet was scraping for mites, but not sure if its for anything else... The broker claimed she fed him Royal Canin, She gave sample bag of those and I also fed him some puppy chow and now got him some scientific somethign from petco, where the lady there recommended.

In case it is a food allergy, you might want to get a high quality food that is for alleries and sensitivity. Here are some good recommendations: 1. Since you went to Petco: Natuarl Balance has an allergy formula 2. If you go to a smaller (mom n pop) type of pet food store... Brands like: Wellness Canidae Solid Gold California Natural Check the labels...I would stay away from: Corn (in any form of text) Wheat (in any form of text) By-Products (in any form of text) Best of luck!
