| Those who feed Wellness I was just wondering about the size of the dry kibble? Susanah LOVES the Wellness canned food and I was thinking about adding the dry food to her diet as well. Thanks!

| Wellness didn't pass Basil's kibble size test--too big. If the kibble isn't microscopic, he picks it out out his bowl piece by piece and places it all over the throw rugs in my kitchen. |

| I emailed them and they are sending me a sample so we'll see. If its too big maybe I can break it up or something. She likes the teeny little microscopic pieces too. She LOVES their canned food. I buy her the puppy formula and mix it with cottage cheese for her breakfast. Yummmmy!

| Wellness dry kibble didn't pass Jack's test either. I too, found kibbles all over our floor. Looks like he scattered them out trying to find a small piece...lol So I went back to Eukaneba dry kibble for toy breeds. The kibble is small and has crystalines on them for cleaning the teeth. Jack loves it. I give him wellness chicken & sweet potato wet food. Which flavor wet food do you give your furkids? I tried the duck but he turned his nose up at it.. |

| Right now Susanah gets the Wellness canned Puppy formula. It has chicken, sweet potato, barley, carrots, and flaxseed. She loves the stuff. They just opened a new Pet Supplies Plus not too far from me and they carry Canidae! I bought a small bag and we're trying it. So far she seems to like it. I hope it works out. Canidae is a good food. The only reason I haven't tried it already is because no place around here carried it and I'm one of those people who needs to know that I have easy access to something she needs.

| Our PSP doesn't carry Canidae. We have a new, locally-owned pet supply store that I plan on frequenting from now on. She got Flossies in because I asked her to, which I thought was awesome. She has all the premium foods, including Canidae, but it's only in the huge bags. She's ordering smaller bags of it for those of us with toy breeds! She also carries California Naturals, which I'll try if he doesn't like the Canidae. Right now, he's eating Nutro small bites with his wet, but it's not the greatest food and I'd like to switch him to something better! |

| I also feed my baby the canned Wellness-he used to like the dry mixed it but started turning his nose up at it a while back. It seems they changed some of the ingredients. I now add Flint River Ranch to the Wellness-he likes it a lot-it is avaiable on the internet. |

| Lacy used to eat Wellness Fish & Sweet Potato before I switched her to raw. She ate the kibble just fine but it is pretty good size. The puppy kibble is smaller though than the adult formulas - like half the size.

| Wellness update I'm glad I was able to find the Canidae. Susanah LOVES it. The Wellness dry (Super5mix Puppy) did not go over well at all. All they did was pick out the Canidae I mixed it with. They LOVE the Wellness canned so I guess its that and Canidae dry.

| I found a store near by that carries Canidae...Now my question to all you Yorkie moms. Which brand of dry food do your furkids like most????? The All Stages? The Chix & Rice? Are the kibbles nice and small for lil mouths? |

| We got the Canidae for all life stages. The bites are nice and small and easily crunched. They also soften up quickly if you add water to them. (I sometimes have to this for my older chihuahau). So far they gobble it up and I am very impressed!

| Susanah's mommy I will be going there tomorrow and pick up the 5 lb. box of the All Stages Canidae, dry kibble.. I won't be adding any water because, I want Jack's teeth to remain clean and strong... It is good that the kibble softens up with water for the senior dogs. I want to start off with the small box, just incase Jack turns his nose up to it...lol Should I just throw out his bad of Eukanuba small breed dry food? Maybe I'll donate it to the homeless pet shelters. Thanks for your quick response. |

| I think donating it would be a good idea. I hope Jack likes it as much as Susanah does!
