| Teething Remedies I think my Maggie has begun her teething stage. She is a little over 4 months and all she wants to do is bite our hands. She also has become very irritable. She usually stays quiet in her crate but lately she has been whining a lot. Does this sound like what some of you went through during teething? Does anyone have any suggestions for things you have done to help soothe the pain of your puppy? What worked or what didn't work? Also, how long does this stage last? Thanks! |

| Yorkies start changing teeth at about 4 months (like little Maggie) And usually in a few months most of her baby teeth will fall...i think the remedies would be the same we have with a teething baby, you can put her toys in the fridge, even give her doggie ice cream...also chew toys are great to help speed up the process. Oops, forgot to say, i used to give Mojo frozen apple and baby carrots...he loves it (specially carrots...he may even think he is a rabbit..heheh) Last edited by Babbie; 11-30-2004 at 08:02 AM. |
