| Treat warning! Gracie loves dried chicken, in any form. We ended up with a bag of dried chicken treats that are round and flat, about the size of a quarter. Gracie loves them. I give her one or two of these each evening. We have never had a problem, until last night. One got stuck in the back of the roof of her mouth. It was all I could do to get a finger in there and dislodge it, it was in so very tight! When giving your baby treats of this size and shape, it would be wise to break them in half and never give them unsupervised! Gracie is fine. We both sure had a scare though!

| I'm so glad she is ok. That is so scary. Maybe you should email the company and let them know so that maybe they can improve the size or something. They may discontinue this size if they know they are a choking hazzard. Thanks for letting us know.

| Thanks for the warning! Another one for everyone out there are those Fortune Snookies our Max is only about 4lbs and our Mazie is like 12lbs and Mazie gets full sized snookie and max a half-size well Max stole mazie's full size and choked on it we had to dislodge it from the back of his throat as well. |

| A good way to dislodge is to turn them upside down and give a very very gentle little shake. |

| We always break all of our treats up and give then tiny pieces at a time. Mine love the dried chicken too.

My Lil Man! Donating Member | I am glad Gracie is ok! You never about some treats...they can surprise you sometimes. After hearing so many stories about treats getting stuck or problems with them or whatever...Reeses is limited to what he can have and when he can have it...he must ALWAYS be supervised. Id rather be obsessive about this to be on safe side rather than chancing something and regretting it! Once again...SO glad Gracie is ok!! |

| Boy what a scare that must have been. I am so glad Gracie is ok. I have never tried those but I give Buddy chicken fillets and worried about him choking so he gets them only when I'm home with him. Try those, there much larger. Hugs, |

| I bought a bag of those round chicken treats at the vet's office but they were so hard and when I tried to break them in half they ended up being sharp little pieces! Everytime I watched the puppies struggle to eat them I'd stress out - so finally I just threw the rest of the bag in the trash

And if you try to get it away that makes them swallow it even faster. So she's not getting them from this bag any more. | |
