| nonfat yogurt, nonfat cottage cheese, green apples, watermelon, carrots, green beans, sweet potatoes, etc... Seeds are generally toxic to dogs, so make sure that you don't let them get the seeds of any fruit that you give them.

| I've heard that they can't have onions or grapes. Are there any other fruits or veggies that they aren't supposed to eat? I've only had my girl for less than a week and I don't want her to beg & mooch too much from my girls so I'm trying to limit the people food. I have given her a few bites of peeled apple and she seems to love it. Today she had a little of my yellow delicious apple, I thought it was sour but she came back looking for more.

| I don't cook carrots either. I know that if Pepper can tear through a flossie in 1 day, a carrot is a piece of ..... cake for him LOL. Apart from that, he'd eat everything human. He only gets eggs - scrambled, cheese, sometimes a little pasta or plain white rice. He loves bananas too.

| I use the peeled baby carrots, raw. Conner loves them. He has one every evening while I'm making dinner.

| maggie loooooves carrots. and ice cubes. i can't help but wonder tho...i have never heard anyone tell me that carrots are BAD for the doggies but are they really ok? i can't imagine why they wouldn't be but grapes, apple seeds, and some other various things are potentially deadly, so I just have to wonder... but yes, she gets several baby carrots every day. and any time she hears me at the ice dispenser on the fridge, she comes running and "dancing" very fun. I will have to try some of the other things that have been listed here. so much better than store bought dog treats.

| Bogey likes raw carrots, non-fat yogurt, raw green beans, apple, banana . Every time I open the frig. or drawer in the kitchen he comes expecting something. I think he's spoiled!! He eats Merrick dry for his all-the-time food, but he picks the carrots out of it & leaves them on the floor (won't eat them!) Go figure

| Mia loves the raw baby carrots, too! But for treats we give her Merricks Flossies and Dogswell dried treats. They come in a wide assortment. There are 3 different colored bags each having their own specialty. Like the orange bag is VITALITY and it is for the eyes, skin and coat but you can get it in chicken breast, duck breast or beef liver. The blue bag is HAPPY HIPS and it's for healthy joints... comes in the same variety above. The green bag is BREATHIES and is for fresh breath and healthy teeth - same variety as above.
