| Max and Abbie eat the california natural lamb meal and rice dry. I got 4 free cans of califonia natural lamb and brown rice when I bought their kibble. Occasionally they get some wet food mixed in with their kibble and they GO NUTS for it. The entire bowl is licked clean, like it just came out of the dishwasher . It's a good quality food and there have not been any recalls on any of their products. California natural is not typically sold in chain stores though, so you'll have to do an internet search to see if any retailers in your area carry it if you decide you want to try it for Lexi.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I switched mine to California Natural Lamb and Rice dry and wet. They love it and Cali is picky. The vet told me to look for a food with 1 Novel protein and 1 carbohydrate to help elininate allergies. They were not ever recalled and does not have a lot of ingredients. I pay 1.49 for a can and that feeds Cali and Pixie for 5 days, with some left Ijust don't like to keep it any longer.

| Gina, about three times a week, I mix Merrick wet ( I think it's the Thanksgiving Day Dinner ) with their dry food. They love it. Gobble it right down. I only mix a small amount in though. Too much seems to give them diarrhea.

I also feed Merricks dry. I feed the turducken recipe and my babies love it. Once I week I mix some of the wet chicken pot pie and they gooble it up. Just like Rudy's mom says......you would think its thanksgiving. Do not give alot because she will get runny poo.

Cook a family pack of boneless chicken breasts on the weekend. Just throw them ina pot and boil them for 30-40mins. Let them cool and put into a freezer bag. Walla, fresh chicken that will last at least two weeks. Just remove one when the one you are using is almost gone and put it in the refrig it will be thawed by the next meal. Also do the same with veggie, peas, greenbeans. Put in micro wave, cook enough for a couple of days and alternate. It's easy and takes up no time at all. Add to kibble.
