| I just want to see if you think that Livi is eating enough. I feed her 1/4 cup of canned Canidae in the morning and then in the evening, I give her 1/4 cup of dry Canidae. I leave the dry food out until she finishes it. It generally takes her about 2 days to finish this amount of dry....so I guess that would mean that (on average) she eats about 1/3 dry each day, give or take. She is at 2.15lbs and turned 14 weeks today. Does this sound like she is eating enough? She would eat more of the wet (canned) if I let her, but I didn't want her to only fill up on the wet. I thought that it would help her little baby teeth to eat some dry as well. Thanks! Tammy Last edited by TammyJM; 06-26-2007 at 10:51 AM. |

| Hey Tammy... puppies go through spurts of growing and each is different, the way i can tell is i feel Layla's ribs. if there is a layer of fat, i know we need more exercise. but since she is still a puppy, it sounds like you are doing a great job. Layla was free fed as a puppy because she woudl have days where she hardly ate, and other days she pigged out! i'd let her tell me how much (dry) she needed |
