Bella Boo & Diggy Too! Donating GS Member | No I do not think it is normal. Id go to the vet in the morning. Bella was a lil swollen the next day but not bad. How much is swollen?? I guess if its just a small amount its okay but if its looking pretty bad Id have it checked out.

| I don't think so... When Emmy was spayed, the vet also had to remove a hernia. She was not swollen--just a bit red around the incision (and it was a large incision on a 3 pound dog). Please get your little girl checked. Is it sensitive to the touch???

| Tink was pretty swollen the first and second days. It went down quickly. I think it depends on the dog. But if you are very worried, you should call the vet right away in the morning. I hope she will be fine. |

| Thanks you guys for all your concerns. My baby is swollen around her nipple areas, but the incession does not look bad, her belly looks swollen or distended also I don't think she wants to eat and hides out under my bed alot. I feel soooo bad about this, sometimes I think I shouldn't of spayed her.

Bella Boo & Diggy Too! Donating GS Member | Id just take her to the vet either way. Do you have some Nutrical to give her to get her through not eating? Maybe scramble her and egg or make her some chicken? good luck

| I would take her to the vet also. My little girl got spayed on Thursday and my vet told me to watch for swelling. Please let us know the outcome. I will keep you and your girl in my thoughts. Thea |
