| Eating question I just had Lola spayed last week and she seems to want to eat soo much more now. Before I had her spayed she didn't eat too much she had just started to get where she seemed to like food more. We have been having a hard time putting some weight on her. I just don't want to over feed her or for her to over eat. I was just wondering if this is just something that they do when they get fixed. When I had Summer fixed I didn't notice her doing this, but she loved to eat. Thanks

second... i tend to go by what Layla tells me.. if she is hungry one day and wants to eat a lot.. that's fine..the next day she might not eat as much.. perhaps her body is needing the extra nutrients to help her heal... keep an eye on her "waist" and make suer it comes in and isn't just straight.. and keep feeling her ribs to make sure you dont' feel a layer of fat under the skin... is she playing more??? i bet in a few weeks it will all even out a bit! | |

| Thanks...I just didn't want her to get overweight which she is really far from being I just wanted to be careful. When I got her the breeder told me that let her eat as much as she wants. I just was afraid because she was just spayed, but we usually free feed them. Thanks everyone.

Bella Boo & Diggy Too! Donating GS Member | If she is active and you feed her healthy desirable food....she will not be over weight and I am sure the increase is hormornal.
