| Canidae Snap Biscuits F.Y.I. Harley loves these things and also loves the dog food. I am currently trying to find a local store that carries the cat food to switch my cats over to. Anyway, I was giving Harley a treat today and snapped 1 in half and there is a hunk of plastic in it. When I pulled it out and looked closely is is 3 pieces of what looks like to me the inner lining of a raw material bag. Each piece was around 1/4 inch a piece. Now I know things happen but this really disappoints me with them with all this dog food recall and crap going on. Canidae food and treats are NOT cheap and it just really makes me wonder what the H*&@ we are feeding our dogs. I guess we really just don't know. Of course I emailed them and will update if and when I hear back.

| You know this is funny I seen this thread I feed my girls Canidae snap biscuts too. I gave it to them the other day and the next day they got the runs, I was wondering if the biscuts had anything to do with it

| My reply from Canidae Hi Keri, Thank you for bringing this our attention. We will definitely being sending this to our production manager so he can find our how this could have happened and prevent it from happening in the future. We will be happy to send you a replacement bag. Please send the UPC bar code along with a copy of this e-mail to the below address. Sincerely, Team Canidae

| They are really nice. Please send them that information so they can figure out what happened or at least recall the batch of biscuits that had the same product code. When Loki was a puppy every food and treat seemed to make him sick. I kept buying whole bags of food and then throwing them away or returning them, which made me feel terrible. They sent me like 10 sample bags so that I had enough to see if he could transition successfully, and he did! He loved Candiae and THRIVED on it. We only switched to Evo because Sammy didn't like the Canidae and I wanted them on the same food. Otherwise he'd still be on it.

| Canidae food and treats! OMG...I guess it has gotten to the point where you never know for sure what they are eating unless you check the food. I have been feeding Canidae food since April l3 and love it. Both my girls love it and will fight over it. I am so happy with it that I would go purchase their treats. I did not know that they made treats. Now I am a little hesitant. I only want the best for my girls. Keep us posted on what the company finds out. |

| This is very disappointing because my boys love the snap biscuits too. I would think they have quality control on their products. I'm gonna be inspecting these more closely from now on. Thanks for posting.
