Innova Low Fat Adult dry food Michele Welton, in her e-books, states that low fat dry food is not what we should be feeding our babies that are slightly overweight and not real active. I did contact Innova and they assured me that the ingredients in the low fat were basically the same as the adult regular. The only difference, according to them, was the arrangement of the ingredients and the protein count was 18 rather than 24. Also less fat. I would really appreciate any opinion regarding this product. Jad

This is what I feed my pug and according to my vet and groomer it is just as good of a food as the regular Innova Adult. I add missing link to their food also!

Low fat dog foods are a marketing gimmick and are filled with grains and fillers. If your dog needs to lose weight, keep them on the current food you are feeding but feed less of it. If your dog is still hungry when you cut back their food, give them canned no salt added green beans with their food.
