how much should I feed????

She is 12 weeks old and weighs 2 lbs, her vet/breeder sent me home with eukanuba small breed, and once that is almost gone I will gradually switch over to Innova puppy, But I'm not sure what the recommended amount is for her age and weight? Do any of you have any recommendations??

because she is just young still i would free feed... Yorkies tend to be picky eaters so she might not want to eat when you put the food down.. i'd put about 1/4 c of food in her dish and take note of how much she is eating each day. When Layla ate kibble she would have some days where she would eat tons and other days where she hardly touched it... and some days she would only eat if i hand fed her we do what we have to for these cuties and congrats on your new little girl!!

Thanks, Well right now I put about 2 tablespoons down in the morning and she will eat about half, then at lunch she will finnish that and I'll put another one down, then she will eat about half of that tablespoon and then kind of graze til dinner. For dinner i'll put another two table spoons down and she will just sort of pick. I just hope she is getting enough but not eating too much.

well right now she is still doing a lot of growing and heavy playing so i woudnl't worry about her eating too much... you can always feel for her ribs.. if you can feel them and no layer of fat over them.. then she is good plus she will be going to the vet so much in the next year for shots and spay and stuff your vet will be able to let you know how she is doing
