| ![]() Daisy was like that too after her last shots. She was sleeping on my lap and I could not see her breathing so I picked her up and she was limp and not moving. I shook her a little bit and she finally moved, I think she was just in a deep sleep. Scared the heck out of me, by the next day she was back to her normal self. |

| ![]() After the first shot Buckeye got he was acting the same way. i got worried and called the vet. they explained to me that is it just like when your human child gets a shot. sometimes they get a little sick and carry a fever and the next day be just fine. i would say if he is not any better tomorrow call the vet.

| ![]() Mya had her booster shot and rabies shot on Friday. The vet warned me that she would sleepy and out of it for 2 day and that this was normal. She was playing after one hour. She didn't cry during her shot either. I do think it is the norm for them to be out of it for a day or two.

| ![]() Bunny got her rabies and last series a little over a week ago and she was really sleepy afterwards too. You could just tell she didnt feel well... she was up and down and just acted cranky! Another thing that vet warned about and we exp'd with the rabies was diahrrea. She got her shot at around 2pm and at around midnight she got it. Then in the morning her first was loose, but after that she was back to her fiesty little self. You just want to watch anytime they get their shots bc it is possible for them to have a reaction, but according to my vet, if they are going to have any adverse reaction, it usually happens within the first few hours. I always make sure that if I am scheduling vaccinations that I make the appointment as early in the day as possible and no later than 2pm, that way if something were to happen I could still take them to our vet and not have to deal with the Animal ER. Hope your baby is feeling better in the morning!

| ![]() Chewy was out of it for about 5 hours and them BOOM back to his naughty self. I think the lethargy can go on for a day or so but usually goes away. |
