| A lot of us went through this problem when our yorkies came home. It happened with Chewy. I gave nutrical 3 times per day but I had to even force that a bit by holding his mouth open with my ring finger and thumb and putting the nutrical onto his tongue with my middle finger, wheeew!!!! I also gave him a teapoon of cottage cheese in the morning and would sit on the floor with him and feed him one kibble at a time of dog food. After 2 weeks he was fine and I have no problems at all anymore. Don't worry, your pup is nervous in her new home. As soon as she settles in she will be fine, I'm sure. Good Luck and congratulations! |

| Oh thanks for asking she is doing just fine. She slept all night last night and hopefully that keeps up. I crushed her food and she enjoys it that way. Used the nutrical just once and that was because I was worried yesterday. Breaking the food down into smaller pieces seems to have worked. She runs around in the house but when I take her outside she just sits there or curls under my feet. She is very timid to jump off a 3 inch curb outside but shocked and scared us when she jumped off the couch. I think we will keep her from doing that until she gets a little bigger. I started her on harness and leash and after a little prodding she walks. The vet gave her some spray cheese today that didn't seem to agree with her but all systems are go. Vet gave us some heartwork medicine and said everything looks fine. I can tell she's going to be an absolute terror. I work from home so I'm here all day with her but I'm worried how she will react on days when my wife and I are gone for a few hours. She is definitely a diva. |

| Great to hear she is doing so well. When I leave mine I leave the TV on to make noise, but I think they just sleep when you leave. You might have to get another one to keep her company. lol I thought that and have four now. lol

| Congratulations on your new baby. I know exactly what you are going through. My kitchen looked like a buffet line in a restaurant. Maggie wouldn't eat anything. She is my first toy baby. My other dogs are big and they eat like garbage disposals. I gave Maggie scrambled egg, cottage cheese, boiled chicken, rice, gerber baby food chicken or turkey. I will try to help you avoid having a picky eater like Maggie. I was her Short Order Cook. I finally quit that game. She is now 14 weeks old and gets Royal Canin 33 Puppy and Bil Jac Puppy. No more human food. I didn't want to practice Tough Love on her at first. She was so little and wasn't use to anybody or anything. I continually tried different foods, until I found one she liked. Now, she owns my heart and home. She has even become a little on the sassy side. So, it was time for Tough Love. It works too.
