| Eating Cat Poop From Litter Box the frankster has been sneaking inthe cat litter box and literally taking the poop out of the box and eating it in various places of the house, and then he will come and hop in my lap liek nothing happened and he smellls soooo bad like cat poop and its on his teeth and his mouth and i am about to gag, Why does he do this? my vet isnt in right now and he is coming in around 11 so i am waiting to call him back but why i dont get it he lived in the house 6 months with out eating it and now he has been eating it every day for the last week, is he lacking something? no food has changed in the house, the cats are still on theirs and the franks and the outside dogs are the same food i noticed my out side dogs doing the same just yesterday but to their own poop, are they sick, is it like in the air? please help me and help me with what to so about it thanks guys

| Rudy, my Yorkie has never tried to eat poop. But Lucky, my rescue Shih Tzu tries to eat Rudys all the time. We have to clean the poop up as soon as we can afterwards. I heard that this is a trait of Shih Tzu's, but I don't know for sure. I'm with you though, it is gross!!!
