| What are your thoughts on Merrick's I'm a new Yorkie owner, and wanted to know what are the thoughts on Merricks dry/canned food? The ingredients sure look healthy, but before I buy, I would like to know how the expert's (all of you!) feel?!

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I am feeding Merrick's wet and my girls love it. With the petfood recalls I am keeping them on several brands and some hamburger and chicken as I don't trust any of them right now. Merricks looks like human food. So I am feeding Innova canned, Wellness canned Merrick's canned and Solid Gold kibble. All of them are quality foods.

| Whew! What a relief! Did you happen to feed it to yours when they were puppies? Merricks has a Puppy Plate that I'd really like to try!

| I feed Merricks also. I buy a 5lb bag of whatever Merrick flavor dry I want and mix it with a 5lb bag of Canidae. Then as a treat - once a week I feed Merricks canned. Whatever flavor. Mine really like the Thanksgiving dinner, Granny's Pot Pie and they also like the Working Dog Stew BUT Izzy got diahrea after that one so I won't feed that again. It may be to rich for her. I love Merricks and Canidae. I won't feed anything else (unless of course there is a recall )

| I alternate between Merrick's Dry and Canidae Dry. Both are excellent quality, but the only criticism I have with Merrick's is a higher volume of poop and it's very smelly. I don't notice that with Canidae. Both my boys love Merrick's wet food too.

| I am in the process of switching Benji and Bella over to Merrick's right now. I wanted to switch them to Canidae but the closes place to get it is like an hour away from my house. Bella decided she liked the Merrick's and wont eat the other food. She will pick all of the SD kibbles out and just eat the Merrick's. I was feeding them Science Diet but I know it isn't the best for them. I tried Chicken Soup but it didn't agree with Bella's tummy so hopefully Merrick's does!!!

| Lola seems to like Merrick's, but the dry food kibbles seem so big! Do your pups seem to have any trouble eating it?

| Neither of mine have a hard time with it. My smallest yorkie is 4 lbs and she gobbles it right up. Makes her actually chew her food Cause she has been known to swallow smaller kibble whole
