| i asked hubby why he said only egg whites. he said if i am using it as a protein suppliment because of her not eating puppy food, the whites are where the protein is and I can give her one a day. He said that the yolk is fine but you dont want to give it as often, maybe just once or twice a week cuz that is where all of the calories are. I said.....ooooh!! so we will start keeping boiled eggs in the fridge and give the little miss the whites of them and then the occasional treat of a yolk

This is from the "Joy of Baking"- The white is 87% water and 10% protein. The yolk consists of 50% water, 16% protein and 32% fat. I always thought it was only the white that had protein.
