wow, Missy's e-collar is smaller ... well, as a result of Friday's being so big and uncomfortable, I found the Healing Band and that is working fantastically ...

Friday is bouncy and feisty as ever ... seems the healing band works great!

Bella had the spay surgery about a week and a half ago. Everything is good with her; but she is licking her incision ALOT now; because I'm sure it's itchy. Poor little Bella! The "Healing Band" is an idea from Monday's and Friday's momma and I just made it for her but it's such a great idea that I'll keep making them and as soon as I get around to it I'll put them on my website... Promise!

Tobey was about a week shy of 4 months when he was neutered. He weighed 3.4 pounds. i thought it was a little young but he recovered wonderfully.

I know what you mean ... I am guessing he had angioplasty? Or was it bypass surgery? I know the blood thinners cause people to bruise easily ... tell him to take it one day at a time and we are praying for a speedy healthy recovery.

He has Atrial Fibrillation... he's doing a lot better today... and Missy is also getting better... i must admit, it's a bit challenging for me to have to take care of both of them at the same time!! lol

I hope itz only a single occurrence ... you are right, hez way too young to have AF ... and it has to be difficult for you as well ... itz alwayz hard being the caregiver ... all my best to you guys.

I'm not sure if it's single occurrence, when i asked my bf, he said he's in constant AFib... i didn't realize there was a difference.. but thanks.. there's always something more to learn about this condition!

my husband had heart valve surgery by michael debakey when he was 35 .. he passed away when he was almost 57 ... thatz too young also!

Please make sure your bf sees a specialist routinely ... good luck!

I've actually read that before, but didn't quite understand all that was said... now i do...

Wow, you've just made my heart jump!!! 57? THAT'S WAY WAY TOO YOUNG! tears are forming at the corner of my eyes as i type this... so tell me, how was his condition after the surgery, what was initially wrong with his valve? do you mind talking to me about it?

We haven't had kids yet, or got married... i'm worried about that, but i've been told this issue isn't life threatening... or so I've read...
