When we were at the vet the other week I told him about what I was feeding Rocky, and after the recall I just switched over to Kibbles N Bits because we had some of that, and he said that the yorkie food from RC was fine, and went over the recall list with me. After talking to the vet, I feel more comfortable about feeding Rocky RC, and he's back on it.

The recalls did not affect these products. We are still using Royal Canin puppy 33. When that runs out, we may switch to canidae, but I have a bag and a half of it left for now.

We are still using it because it is the only thing that we can get our little one to eat. She eats RC Yorkie food. She is Miss Picky!

Kissie does'nt like any dry food. I tried many included Royal Canin for yorkies.
The only one she eats is Nutromax for Puppy, even the Nutro Max for adults she does'nt like it. She forgot she will be 2 years in august. But for her the dry food for dogs is like snacks. She prefers to eat real food, chicken, rice, vegetables,fruit... She is really a baby, not a dog ..

Same here! She has been on RC for 2 1/2 years. No problems. I have tried to introduce many other brands to her ( name it and I bet I have probably tried it) but she has that clever skill

of taking all the kibble from the other brands and placing them all around the floor- away from her bowl-where they stay and we end up stepping on them! Crunch! Crunch! I have wasted quite a bit on money trying to find something else she likes. Here in San Diego, I pay exactly 12.97.

Emmy does that same thing! I had to buy another brand at the vet in small town Mississippi...she did not like it, but until I could back to Petsmart, it was what she had. When we got a new bag of RC Yorkie, I just mixed the two. She is still picking out the other brand. She puts it on the floor, where I pick it up and garbage it. Sooner or later she will have it all picked out.

I feed Mckenna RC mini puppy33 as a small side dish every other day. She gets a larger portion of Newman's Own canned food chicken every day. I also give her cut up pieces of fruit like apple or banana as a treat on the side. I think I will switch her to the RC yorkshire terrier once she's over 10 months.

Both of my guys eat the RC food. I had checked the recall list a while back and it wasn't on there. Thank goodness because we had just purchased the big bag of food. I got tired of going out to the pet store that's local and them not having the food in stock so we just got the large bag at the PetSmart when we were there plus it was a little cheaper this way.
