| hey ya'll hey! i am new to this kinda thing and have been a yorkie lover for a very long time. i have a 6yr old female that just had two pups (one of ea) and she is losing her hair on her head. she has been at our breeders since two days before she gave birth 4-24-05( cause i had to have surgery) and has been there since. we have just been informed yesterday that she had lice? or mites? and now has no hair on her head. breeder seems to think she got it from the groomer she hasn't been to since christmas or she had it here before she left (we have no mite\lice in our house) we do not let her outside and there are no other dogs are in the house. we are just so confused. we understand that these things can happen to anyone and we are not the kind of people to seek retribution.we just want people to do the right thing and we just want to know how it happened and if her hair will grow back. help!!!! what can we do? tell us what you think. |

Donating YT 14K Club Member | Don't believe the breeder! I do not buy what that lady is telling you. It is VERY possible that she got that from HER house. After all, she's been there since April 25th????? I would go get her IMMEDIATELY and have her checked out by a vet. I highly doubt that it would take that long for her hair to fall out. If your dog and pups have been around other dogs, no telling what they might have contracted! |
