| bad news lost friday i called my vet to see if the test results from my 4 morkies one year old came back yet. i had the bile acid test done lost monday. because there dad 2 year old yorkie named duke ,was diagnosis with liver shunt 2 weeks ago. the vet informed me, the test results was in. that out of 4 dogs one only came back normal. i was shocked by that. so soon as i found out i started to change there food to l/d. even the dog with normal test result. i have to make a lot of phone calls today to get some more answers. thank god the morkies are showing no signs of health problems yet. |

So sorry to hear about your babies. At least it was caught early and maybe with just the food it can be controlled with that. Keeping my fingers crossed. A good friend of mine found out that his min pin's liver enzymes were high. He is taking her back to the vet today for some more testing and to get medication.

| So sorry to hear that...I was hoping that their bile acid test came back within normal range...Is the vet starting them on lactulose too?

| Just wanted to wish your babies well. Hope it can be controlled through diet and hopefully it's not anything that can't be corrected. |
