| Switching from DRY Chik. Soup....Recs?!? Help Please!! Y'all, I'm so upset about this new recall, I am beside myself! I don't feed the recalled wet products, but I do feed the Dry version of Chicken Soup for the Puppy Lover's Soul. I don't trust Diamond anymore, if they didn't list the tainted ingrediants on the canned formulas, why should we believe they are listed on the dry formula? I'm through with them!!! I am going on lunch break today to switch Pheona's food over to something else. She will be 9 months old on the 9th of May. I also feed Merricks Wet food mixed in with her evening kibble, which I plan to continue, as well as a 1/4 tsp. of Missing Link with this as well. Do you all rec. Merricks Dry food Puppy formula? What about Solid Gold Wee Bites or Wellness, Canidae, etc. I just don't know what to do, I want the best for her health, and all these recalls are scaring me to death! I don't know what is next, or what to trust!

| I mix the dry Chicken Soup for the Puppy Lovers Soul with the dry Canidae and then add a little baby food meat to it. Good luck. |

| I am with you southerncomfort! I also use the chicken soup for the puppy lover and I know the dry isn't on the recall but yet can't trust the company if they are not listing all the ingredients on the canned food I have been using canidae mixed with the chicken soup so we are going to switch over to canidae and then if that's put on the recall I'm done! Home cookin hear I come!

| I just switched Gracie over to Merrick. It is for all life stages but they also offer a puppy formula.

| I too use Chicken Soup for puppies and adult dogs! I live in a very small rural area where there's not much available. Was surprised to see Chicken Soup! Now what to do? I hate ordering online....and you never know what they'll eat! |

My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | I know what you mean! I went home on lunch and pulled all the hard CS for the Puppy lovers soul and bought canidae for all life stages. I also hate changing them over so much! This is our 3rd change! But I didn't feel sage feeding them it even though its only the canned being recalled. Its just crazy!!! |

| It looks like it was pulled because American Nutrition added rice protein to the food even though they should not have. Diamond is pulling its Diamond Lamb & Rice Formula for Dogs 13 oz. cans, Chicken Soup for the Pet Lover's Soul Kitten Formula 5.5 oz. cans, and Chicken Soup for the Pet Lover's Soul Puppy Formula 13 oz. cans from shelves. What really scares me is that apparantly they have tested the rice protein used by American Nutrition and found melamine.

| Okay guys, I went on lunch to get Pheona a new bag of food. I picked up Merrick's Grammy's Pot Pie Dry. She already eats their wet food mixed in with the CS at night, so I hope she will like the dry kibble. It says it is an All Life Stages Food, so it should be okay I think. I just hope it sits well with her and she'll eat it!

| Yes, all of Merricks foods including the puppy plate are for All Life Stages She will be fine. I've been feeding Grammy's Pot Pie to my maltese since we got her when she was 7 months old But now we're actually home cooking...

| I feed Canidae dry and the canned wet All Life Stages, and Wellness Super 5 puppy mix dry and the canned Wellness chicken and sweet potato and duck and sweet potato. I make different combinations with them. I think these are both excellent brands and neither have been affected by the recall, and Ralfie loves the variety of the different foods. I like that the Super 5 puppy dry has DHA for puppies and has more fruits than Canidae, but I love them both. I think we're going to stick with this
