| Diarhhea can happen for a number of reasons so dont start panicking yet!! If your pet food was not on the list then you are probably fine. Now, lets distingusih here. WHAT EXACTLY ARE YOU CALLING DIARRHEA???? Most people do not know and therefore do not specifiy what the stool looks like. Diarrhea, by definition is soupy, runny, liquid with no formation of stools. A loose stool is NOT DIARHHEA. So what is it that is happening with the two dogs? DO THEY BOTH HAVE STOOL CONSISTENCY PROBLEMS? You say you are not giving them any extra treats??THIS IS GREAT. Some of the pet food problems DOES COME FROM THE TREATS THEY SELL AND THE TREATS ARE NOT NOT LISTED. So, LAY OFF THE TREATS. Your dog food is probably fine. Pay attentioin when they go out..watch them like a hawk that they are not licking puddles or eating grass with insecticides on it etc. I am sure you are careful. By now you probably KNOW what has caused the problem and I hope you will let me/us know. Please, please read my posting on the dog Food I represent...both of my Yorkies will be safe for life on this wonderful food and will be getting absolutely human grade food for life. Write to me if you like and please let me know what the problem was with your dogs. Just remember that ALL COMMERCIALLY SOLD PET FOOD SHOULD BE AVOIDED...NONE OF IT is what it purports to be. | Max had diarrhea a lot when he was a puppy. I would give him white rice and a little chicken as well as 1/4 tsp of Pepto Bismol. He got medicine once, although there was never any real cause found. I thought he just had a nervous little tummy. He outgrew it several months ago, but I've become careful about snacks and food. I avoid giving him anything that would give a human with a nervous stomach diarrhea. I hope the little baby feels better soon!
