| Dry and canned food? Or just dry alone? I'm new so I apologize in advance if this question has been asked a thousand times I have a very picky little eater in my hands.. just under 3lbs and 6 months old. Right now he's on the raw diet, but he'll really only have the meat bc he hates all the other types. And he doesn't even touch his dry food, which is Nutro right now. I've even tried boiled chicken, with brown rice and carrots, but that didn't go either... plus I'm a little scared to cook for him bc I feel like he won't be getting the necessary nutrients. Anyway (sorry for the tangent), I want to switch him and see what food he'd like more.. but I was wondering if everyone just gives their dogs the dry food alone? or do you also give them canned food? And along those lines, from what I've read in the posts, it looks like Merrick's canned food is really good, and Canidae's dry food is really good? Is that right? Thanks so much in advance!! I always have so many questions bc he's my first dog... I'm glad I found you guys |

| Canidae and Merricks are both good foods. Mine eat canned and dry. They probably eat more of the canned than they do dry everyday but they are picky eaters. I feed mine Evangers canned and Nutro dry

| I am switching my little one and got some samples from a local pet store. He seems to like Merrick's puppy plate a lot- its a dry food but you can mix some water in it and it creates a gravy similar to wet food. You can serve it either way. He gobbled up the sample. He also gobbled up Artemis small breed puppy, and canidae all life stages, and Eagle Pack's Holistic Select. So I have NO clue which to pick. I can't tell if he truely likes them or just just likes them cuz they are new. All I know is that I have never seen him eat so much!! and they are all dry foods by the way, he used to be picky when i served wet foods, but when he doesn't get a choice, he eats the dry food fine.
