I'm new so I apologize in advance if this question has been asked a thousand times

I have a very picky little eater in my hands.. just under 3lbs and 6 months old. Right now he's on the raw diet, but he'll really only have the meat bc he hates all the other types. And he doesn't even touch his dry food, which is Nutro right now. I've even tried boiled chicken, with brown rice and carrots, but that didn't go either... plus I'm a little scared to cook for him bc I feel like he won't be getting the necessary nutrients.

Anyway (sorry for the tangent), I want to switch him and see what food he'd like more.. but I was wondering if everyone just gives their dogs the dry food alone? or do you also give them canned food?

And along those lines, from what I've read in the posts, it looks like Merrick's canned food is really good, and Canidae's dry food is really good? Is that right?
