Is anyne on here a vet I have a question or know of one that I can call in the maryland area. My pup i am about to get has a hernia, the breeder called me and said that she would pay for the procedures, is this a healthy dog for me to still get. Should I not get her, is this common in smaller dogs. Please help I am suppose to go and pick herup next weekend.

I dont know anything about hernia's in dogs but bumping you up...hope someone else can help

I don;t know a thing about them either.....but I'd wait on this one. see if the breeder will do surgery, and see how pup comes out.

to spend as much as we do on these babies, I'd get a clean bill of health before buying.

how old is the puppy? can the breeder do the procedure with her own vet before you get it?
