Yup! Comes from the feet. Smell the pads after they've run around and worked up a sweat. Corn chips! Some people will have that happen after eating lots of corn too.

I went to the Candae web site and e-mailed them asking for samples. After receiving no reply, I finally just went out and bought a small bag. Of course, a few weeks later samples showed up in the mail.

So, if anyone is interested in trying Canidae, I have two small sample bags I would mail out (preferably to two different people so it helps more than one person). Just PM me.

I have a 3 lb 4 month old, which dry Canidae should I try, I didn't see a puppy food listed? I have learned alot off this site in the last couple months, before I really didn't know about dog food ratings.

Avoiding soy and wheat is a good idea too, they can also make puppies itchy. I'm, um, allergic to those too. ::chuckle:: Oats and brown rice are good fiber sources, but try to steer clear of the others.

My furkids have been on Canidae All Life Stages for about two years now. They all have Frito Feet Syndrome. I love to hug them up and sniff their tootsies.

Canidae is a fantastic food. I am feeding 7 Yorkies between the ages of 4 years and 6 months and an elderly Boxer. They all have wonderfully shiny coats, tons of energy, and just glow with good health.

Canidae is All Life Stages meaning you can give it to a puppy, adult, or senior.
For real sensitive stomachs try the Lamb and Rice. The kibble is small so it is the perfect size for our little ones.

Mine are on Canidae and I must say I am very pleased with this dog food. Mine all love it, even the picky eaters love it. And their coat and skin is healthier too. I feed it all to my two puppies who are 7months old, my two yorkies who are a little over a year old, my yorkie poo who is almost 2years old and my cocker spaniel who is a senior at 9 years old. I highly recommend Canidae, it is really a great food!!

Have you checked pet stores? These are usually the only stores that carry top rated foods. I don't mean petco or petsmart. Like an independent pet store...you know privately owned. This is where I buy mine...she sells all the top rated foods...she is now carrying Merrick also.

Pets supplies plus had sample bags at the counter they last time I was in there if any of you have one near by.

Since I started my girl on the food her coat is starting to grow. I thought it would be thin and choppy forever. I really think she is going to have a beautiful coat.

IF you have a southern States feed store? Ask them is they can order it for you. I had to push my store here to get it.... Now that can not keep it on the shelf. Good Luck.

Is the size of the kibble different for Canidae All Life Stages, Canidae Lamb & Rice or Canidae Chicken & Rice OR they all the same size???

Just wanted to add my 2 cents. A big thumbs up for Canidae! My babies have been on it for a about 1 1/2 months (all life stages reg formula) and I have noticed a big change in their coats expecially. AprilLove is more cottony and her hair has gotten much more glossy and shiny and hardly if ever matts. Nappy I have seen less dramatic change, but still shinier.

I must say that I too am very happy with Canidae. I switched Dezi about 4 weeks ago and I can see the difference in her hair. She also has cottony hair and before feeding Canidae it looke dull and not shiny. I can see the difference and she loves it.
