| Trying out Kibble---Need advice What is the best way for me to try out different kibble with Izzy? I narrowed it down to 3 kinds: Merricks, Canidae and Solid Gold Wee Bits. I bought a bag of Solid Gold and Merricks. Then I got samples of the Canadae. My first attempt was feeding him the Merricks only, but he didnt seem to like it...maybe the kibble was too big? So I mixed it with his Dr. Harveys Pre Mix. (which I will continue to use) He ate it okay but still didnt seem to like it. Then I gave him a few Solid Gold Wee Bits he ate a couple, but I don't think he was very hungry. Later that day I gave him a few of the Canidae kibbles...he seemed to really like it. Am I trying out too many at once? Im kind of annoyed because of course the bags I bought he doesnt seem to be fond of and the samples he likes!!

| When I tried mine on diff. samples, I tried 1 brand per day at the same time each day........(breakfast). Of course, mine will eat anything and they like everything....... But, I think introducing 1 kibble choice per day is wise and more accurate? Who knows, maybe someone with a better opinion/advice will drop by soon. Good luck

No Longer a Member | Yes, you really have to give several days to each one. If you put it out, and he sniffs and then walks away, and then you put something else down, he'll start getting really picky (ask me how I know, LOL). The hardest part is not freaking out when they don't eat much. Sometimes they won't take to something really well at first, but after a while, they do really well with it. |

| Okay that sounds about right. I figured I was introducing too much at once. He might have gotten confused.
