My dog died a year and a half ago from rat poison. I have gone everywhere that we took him and called everyone i know to ask if they had rat poison in their house.... noone had any. to this day its been a mystery! now im hearing that this has potentially gone back that far, from Sept 05 - Nov 05. My dog died the last week of sept 05.

Like you said, I don't want to sue, but i'd love to find out if that could be how my puppy got poisoned! I was going through a really tough seperation at the time, and so its always been suspicious that he just died so suddenly like that. He did eat canned food... nutro & eukanuba and probably others. When the necropsy was done, they said there was a tear in his liver and that is how he bled out into his body cavity (sorry to be so graphic here) but now Im wondering if that was how. It would give me peace of mind to know that it was something I could not have prevented!

Any thoughts on this???

They are saying that food from 12/06 to 3\07 was all that was tainted. The company has been dishonest so I would not be surprised to find out differently.

Ace had a good day yesterday. He got out of his crate to eat and drink water yesterday morning and even felt good enough to go for a short walk outside yesterday afternoon. Deuce is getting somewhat back to normal but still spends a lot of his time in his crate sleeping. I am seeing a slow recovery.

THANK YOU for posting an update.

I have your 3 babies (especially Ace) on my mind non stop. Thank God they sound like they are heading in the right direction. I will continue to pray that all 3 make a full recovery. I hope they are not suffering on the inside. Bless those little angles you've got!

Ohhhh Laurie, I am so sorry. This is just heartbreaking to me especially since I know your little one's personally and have cuddled up with them in the bed.
I was shocked last night when we spoke and have been thinking of them ever since. I'm glad to hear they are doing a little better. I'll be checking in with you soon. Many prayers going out to them. No one's babies deserved to go through this and I pray this nightmare will finally end for everyone!
