Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Hmm, their Web site doesn't say anything about it, just says it was not part of the Menu Foods recall. However, I googled royal canin and vitamin d and found a cycling blog where the poster mentioned a recall because of vitamin d from a canada plant. Not sure how old it was.

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | I think I figured it out. RC's canada Web site says they did have a problem with that in early 2006 and did a voluntary recall. I'm sure the lawsuit your link points to is somebody suing over that. According to RC, the problem has been solved. http://www.royalcanin.ca/recall_statement.php

| Thank goodness, my 3 boys love that food and have been on it since last spring, cant imagine having to find a new hard food they would like. I stopped all wet food about 6 months ago. |

| Thank you for this. So glad I finally had a chance to read this thread. I was really worried. Good to know the current lawsuit is just the usual tort stuff. |
