a million different foods......HELP!!! OK!!! I just got home from this private pet food store.....that sells all the "better" brands of dog foods......she sent me home with 6 little sample bags of dry food (those were the only samples she had)......so we can figure out what Brandi might like......and I bought about 6 cans of different wet food...Brandi loves her wet food.....unfortunately she was eating the Natural Choice :-( ......so I now have....3 sample bags of California Naturals.....Lamb meal & rice, Chicken meal & rice and an opps (she gave me a sample of puppy lamb LOL)...I have Solid Gold MMillennia and Solid Gold Just a WEE BIT......and a sample of Merrick Turducken.....and I bought a small sampler sized bag of Chicken Soup........AND 5 cans of Merrick (different flavors) & 1 can of Wellness...NOW!!! how do I go about letting her try these? the little dry pouches only contain enough for 1 meal (I'm estimating) but I don't want to start a new food everyday......because if there's a problem I won't know what caused it.......HELP!!! I do know there was a link to a list of the top rated foods......but I didn't know how to find it........

All the kibble foods you mentioned are good to feed. If she is really small, - the wee bits are great cause the pieces are very tiny. I would go with any of those. Know what I do when I get those samples? I put them in the treat/training bag and use them as that and my pups think they're getting a real treat. Merricks is good and Solid Gold products I've heard that Chicken Soup is good but haven't used it myself. good luck!

i have found that when you are feeding such a high quality of food.. like you are ... the change in the different brands done'st seem to bother layla... so i'd go day by day... see which type she eats more of... some she will probably turn her nose up at... we've been doing the same with layla and wet food.. she HATED Wellness wet food and now is on GO.. and loves it! good luck ... sounds like a great mommy to me

| This is the link www.dogfoodanalysis.com But I think all those foods are top-knotch We have our little Emma on Merrick's Grammy's Pot Pie dry food after trying Natural Balance Venison and Brown Rice (which she doesn't like anymore) and Solid Gold (which she doesn't like either)...As far as wet food she likes Merricks GPP, Natural Balance Duck & Potato. Another thing she likes is Natural Balance rolls. We give her that every once in awhile. This little girl likes variety...She's very picky, so we always give her a different canned food with her meals...We bought the French Country Cafe (Merrick) and Wingaling or something like that too which we will be trying as soon as she finishes her current can of food. She hasn't had any tummy problems at all during this whole thing of finding a food that she really likes, but I think we've finally found a solution. Grammy's Pot Pie dry and different canned foods by Merrick Different foods work for different doggies though. The only reason we went with this one is that we contacted a lady that specializes in selling natural foods and she said picky eaters usually love this, and it has worked so far It sounds like you're doing a great job finding your baby the right food. Good luck, and let us know which one you decide

Brandi wasn't having any problems with what I was feeding her......but it was on that recall list.......so it's time for something different now I'll never trust that food again......although I understand that the Chicken Soup for dog lovers souls.....is by Diamond and they had their own problems a while back......actually the lady didn't encourage me to buy that......but I wanted to try it cause so many raved about it here.......I do have to say I was impressed with this store......I was in there about 6 years ago when they first opened......but I didn't have much knowledge at that time.......NOW of course I'm learning much more......so I went there today.....it's in my old neighborhood......and I had mentioned that I thought Brandi had a problem with the Bully Sticks too.....she told me maybe the one I got her was too big for her.....so I was looking at theirs.......and OMG I was shocked at the prices......I paid 12.00 for 2 12" ones they have the big ones for 3.99 and the small ones for 1.49......and she didn't push any particular food.......we discussed them all and she gave me the samples to try out.....of course now she's got a new customer.......
