| that was too funny. I read it at first and just about fell over in my chair..lol..then read that you were kidding...phew...To the original poster, you can poor meat tenderizer on it and they'll stop eatting it. I think puppies think they lack nutrition or may even eat it if they think they'll get in trouble.

| Well mine started that too.....I heard to put meat tenderizer in their food. So I did...and guess what...she sniffs it now & walks away.... Try it, I put a bunch on the top of her food and mix it through w/ my hand. Hope it helps. They are not suppose to like it after it goes through, but she likes it on her food........Who knows............. God Bless |

| Yes, it is a powdered mix, but you can buy it in small plastic little jars, like you buy cinnamon or oregano...etc.. It is with the spices. Mine is orange in color....it worked for us and she likes to eat it I think it gives her food flavor! Blessings |

| for-bid My little yorkie was also eating her poop ,I asked her vet and she sold me some packets called( for-bid ).you use a 1/4 of the pack twice a day mix it with their food for 5 days and it will stop them from doing this .I tried it and yes it does work . it is not harmful to the dog, and they will still eat their food ,but when it poops it tastes awful I paid about 2.50 a pack and it does 4 feedings. Give it a try. |

| When i caught my little Ziggy eating her poop, I got really nervous and I looked it up on- line. I read somewhere that puppies usually eat their poop when they are afraid. They say that way back in the days dogs did it all the time to cover their trails from their prey. So yeah I guess it's normal. The article also said that they usually grown out of it, but you should always stop them from doing it.
