I agree to give him some canned pumpkin. He is probably fine and just constipated from the change.

Make sure he has all the water he needs at his disposal. Also take him for a couple of long walks. That usually stimulates them into going.

If he is eating he must be Ok. Are you sure he is not hiding somewhere to poop, or that he isn't eating it?

thanks Guys , we don't have canned pumpkin here in the uk but i have olive oil and afriend tells me that i could use fish oil !!!! well Rusty went tonight and isn't constipated i think its more the change in routine from his own folks and he doesn't like poo-ing in front of us lol Well at least he went today. He has plenty of water as we have 4 or 5 bowls through out the house and we do plenty of long walks too as my hubby is a dogwalker for a living !! so he gets to go too!!! Any advice is very welcome as i have never had this happen to any of our dogs

i hope he goes again today as i am worried he may have toxins in his body. I guess its making him happy here while his owners are away, they will be back on saturday 23rd of march!!! All i want is for him to be happy and settled lol I have to say he is the only dog we have come here that does this, we have 3 others who come and absolutly love being away.
