I had my toy poodle on it for years.........I didn't know any better, didn't know about by-products, or animal testing. All I knew was that by feeding Eukanuba I was feeding the best I could find. I wasn't looking for it because that's what I could afford. Not that I am rich, but how much can a toy poodle eat? A bag lasted for weeks and weeks........even if I payed 100 bucks for one.........it would calculate to cents a day. My opinion, not everyone is born knowing these things. But for those of us who learned.........there is nothing wrong with 'educating others'. I am willing to bet that the people who buy/bought Eukanuba were doing so because they were looking for the absolute best out there for their pet. If not, they would be buying kibbles and bits and or purina dog chow.... (not even looking at Eukanuba because it's expensive). These folks are mislead like I was once. I have no problem telling others to research by-products and other ingredients and educating themselves. Most will be apt to do so, others won't (their choice). Having said all this..........there are better foods out there that are potentially cheaper and/or equal to...........yet you don't see them in commercials but they exist.

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | I was at Petsmart last night & my son's girlfriend is a manager there-I saw the new food & asked her about it-she quickly flipped to the ingredients and said no Jaxon shouldn't eat and stick to the Royal Canine Yorkie food!

| Canidae lamb and rice and Life's Abundance. Breeder had him on Eukanuba. After the change, his hair couldn't look any better!

| I bought Pix some Canidae today.... she's still finishing up the can of Eukanuba, but she ate the mix of the old can and the new dry... **shrugs** maybe she'll eat it when we go all the way?

| Eukanuba puppy food? Hi All, I have a newly adopted puppy. I got her 2 weeks ago now. I have been feeding her Eukanuba puppy food for small breeds. She is now eating about 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup everyday she is 15 weeks. She is still very small, and she doesn't really like her food but I think she eats just so she wont starve. I am wondering, if I should look at switching her food or leave her eating what she is. After all she is eating.. Is Eukanuba a good brand? I was thinking about Royal Cainn.. any suggestions. Thanks in advance, Sarah |
