| BEFORE ///// I had heard to let them go into a heat cycle first....but my shih tzu female went into her first cycle and one of her tits puffed up and got really really swollen..... she is almost 3 years old and still has about a golf ball size squissy ball on her tit..... vet says it is not cancer , but I would never take that chance again,.... |

| If she is under 2 lbs I would wait.... you just have to weigh out the chances... Possible mammrytumors ..,,, or possibe problems with anesthisia being so tiny..,, I believe I would wait until she is over 2 lbs... maybe she will take a big growth spurt . |

| Before first heat - Mia was 7 months old - we also had her final baby teeth done at the same time Good Luck on deciding!
