| ![]() My Trinket is 15 months old, her tongue has always kind of hung out of the right side of her mouth on occasions and I find her chewing her hair a lot as well. I have noticed that her jaw is quite crooked meaning her bottom jaw slants and is lower on the right side. Is this something that could cause any major issues that I need to be aware of? |

YT 500 Club Member | ![]() Hum. I would definitely have the vet take a look. Has she had an accident? I know about over & under bite with Yorkies but crooked jaw, shouldn't be that way.

YT 500 Club Member | ![]() You may want to see a doggie specialist dentist. My little on had terrible teeth, ending up removing several because of his under bite. Wasn't cheap but helped for keeping his mouth healthier. You are saying your baby was born with a crooked jaw? Probably not much you can do for that, surgery would be way to dramatic, & expensive. I would suggest a dental specialist. Your vet should have elaborated on the subject more. I don't think you want to brush this off. Could create problems in the future. She's gorgeous no matter.

| ![]() My Jezebel has a slight wry bite, because of this she often sleeps with her tongue stuck out a little. As long as they don't have trouble eating, chewing, picking up things, and it doesn't cause any other problems, I would not consider surgery. But definitely have your vet look at it and make sure it's not a complicated case.
