| I was charged $66.00 for the spay/neuter and $25.00 for the teeth. I think spending almost 1,000 is wayyyyyyyyyyyy too much. Time to go somewhere else.

| Wow, that is ridiculous! It was around $350.00 for us to get Wrigley spayed and have 14 teeth pulled. That included her antibiotics and all her pain medication! |

| cost My daughter paid $15 at the Humane Society and that included rabies. They did not ask income level or anything like that...all pay the same. Two of my old vets used to work one day per week at the HS spaying/neutering...so it was the same vets not students... |

| I live in Reno which is not that far from you and to get Angel Spayed, (4)teeth pulled, blood work, pain meds, Anethesia, & microchipped is about $350.00. (and also her 3rd set of shots) I would check in some of your surrounding areas, even Sacramento has to have better prices then the bay area. What about around Napa/Somoma area? The $1,000 quote is way too much money!

| Thats REDICULOUS!!! It was like 80 bucks to get Chewy spayed in Brooklyn, NY. And i am really happy with the vet. everyone there is very nice and even gave me some free pain killers when i came to pick her up in case she would be in pain later on. Definately try to get some referrals from ppl you know in the area. Thats how i found mine because i was not happy with the office we used to go to. |

| Wowsers! That's a lot of money for spay & teeth...Just because they charge more, doesn't make them better. I would definitely keep looking around.

| I paid last week little over $400 for spay, 2 teeth pulled, blood work and microchip. I think that this is more than anyone here paid for having this done. But paying almost $1000 is just plain stupid!!!What does your vet think??? maybe hes hands are made of gold or something!!! they are just planning to ripoff ppl in bright daylight!!!

| My vet is great!!! Very caring! Also does after hours work. A spay is $60 Teeth $30 neuter $40 Vacinnations are only $5-15 depending on which ones. We took a female in at midnight. She was running a high temp and due to whelp in just a few days. She had preeclmasia (spelling). She was given a shot of calcium and sent home for us to watch. The total bill was $30. I usually leave mine overnight the night before surgery, as the vet is 20 min away. I pick them up the next evening. They do not charge extra for this since the dogs are not eating because of the surgery. I have a spare bedroom if you want to come to Kansas for your dog's vet work!! |

| I had Piccolo neutered and teeth pulled and it was $45, so they did not charge much more to pull the teeth that were still there. I am taking two dogs in this week for teeth pulling. |

| I cannot believe the price difference state to state...just plain crazy! I should of had Angel done there with your vet instead of here...ouch! oh well I really like and trust my vet....but $1,000 to pay is way out of line any where!

| I asked the vets in December about spaying the small ones. They have done it before, but said it is diffecult as things are so tiny. I was going to have Beauty (3 pounds at 9 months) spayed before she left, but her new home was found very quickly and they wanted her before I had time to get her spayed and recover. I would not rush sending her before she had recovery time. |
