Hill's Prescription vs MediCal
Hi, my puppy yorkie is approaching his adulthood and need to switch from his puppy food to adult food.
I am thinking to switch to one of these 2 brands.
- MediCal - Weight Control
- Hill's Prescription t/d
My friend recommends MediCal to me but my vet recommends Hill's. Anyone know which one is better?
My puppy is currently in Royal Canin puppy 33. I just want to switch him to a more premium adult food to try out.

I would recommend Life's Abundance or Canidae All Life Stages. Personally, those are the only 2 dog foods that I would ever feed my dogs. And, I would not switch to a "weight control" formula. Those are just marketing ploys. If your yorkie is overweight, continue feeding the same adult food, but just feed less.

Personally, Hill's is not good.............not sure about the other one.
