Donating YT 1000 Club Member | OMG She Just Ate Raw Hamburger Hubby just got home from the grocery store and the bags were on the floor as we put them away. I turned around and Kenzi had stuck her nose in a grocery bag and had eaten the corner of a package of raw hamburger. I quickly weighed the package to see how much in fact she had injested and it was just under an oz. Should I be concerned?

Donating YT 14K Club Member | I personally wouldn't worry about it. I feed mine raw on occasion...just keep an eye on her...it may upset her tummy a little if she's not use to it.

| Maybe Kenzi is trying to tell you something...like she's ready to try a raw food diet? I just started the boyz on Nature's Variety and they absolutely love it...I just hope I don't find them outside rustling cattle now! |

| She didn't eat enough to hurt her, but since she isn't used to raw, any little amount may make her poop a bit softer. |

Donating YT 14K Club Member | yeah, that will probably be the worst of it...hopefully, that won't happen, though.

Lovin' 2 Girls Donating Member | I can tell you, with 4 years' RAW feeding experience, that Kenzi will be FINE She very well may be "trying to tell you" she prefers real food to kibble. Abbie eats RAW every day, with no ill effects.

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | Thanks to all for the reassurance. Kenzi has survived just fine. No ill effects. I was ready with a towel though. Didn't let her out of our sight all night. Didn't want to find a surprize on the floor! Looking back it was kinda funny seeing her tiny little body gobbling up that meat inside of the bag. I must say she did love it! She was licking her chops for quite awhile. This is one of the reaons I love YT. If you need advice, counsel, help or whatever, there is always someone there to help.
