				   | Floppy Ears my yorkie is only 7 weeks old and she has floppy ears. I have never seen one with floppy ears is this normal? Will she grow out of this. Also her coat is not fluffy like most yorkie puppies i have seen it is just straight and coarse. |

				   | 7 weeks is pretty young for his ears to be standing. You may end up taping them but I wouldn't worry about that just yet.

				   | Ramsey is 11 weeks and his ears are floppy, but I have noticed every once in a while he will hold them straight up. (like when he hears someone walking up the steps). |

				   | ...my comet has floppy ears too! My vet told me that it depends on the breed of the yorkie which determines whether their ears flop or not. I love my comets floppy ears! I just keep them clean and dry due to the lack of air that passes through. |

				   | My Sophie is 6 mths. old and her ears are floppy. I think they look cute that way. Your puppy is very young there is a good chance they will stand. |

				   | Scrappy's ears were up at 8 weeks, but weren't trimmed, so they fell and are down (he is five years). Ruby is a Shorkie so of course hers do not stand..they are huge and cute. As far as other members, I believe Valerie's Sully (Passionfruition) has one up, one down, & Cynthia's Bo (IHeartYorkies) has floppy ears, too. |

				   | Personally I think the floppy ones are the cutest! It just gives them more personality.
