What adult food would you recommend? HEllo all...I think there has been a thread about this but I can't find it. We is Natural Choice dog food and I think we need to change. It is puppy food and the adult food they have is too big for my babies. I just got a sample of Bil-Jac food and they went crazy for it. My questions is, what is the best adult food? Should I get Bil-Jac or do you guys recommend something else? One person told me kibbles and bits...but I would like to hear what you guys have to say.

| Welp.... My breeder recommended I give Sam Eukanuba... and I do.. he loves it! Its good for their growth, skin, teeth and hair.. and he loves it! He eats every bit of it... its a little pricier then other brands.. but nothing should be too good for your baby...especially his health! Let me know what you decide on.

The woman I got Oscar from swears by Royal Canin. I've just started him on it. I know others in the forum also feed this brand. They make a kind specifically for yorkies.

Natural Choice has new small bite kibbles for adult small dogs now. My 6 1/2 lbs yorkie loves them. She eats lamb and rice Natural Choice small bites. It is sold at PetSmart. Last edited by LeiliMom; 05-16-2005 at 05:34 PM.

I think Natural Choice is made by Nutro as I see "Nutro" word is printed above the words "Natural Choice" on the bag.

I've been using Eukanuba puppy for years and just switched to adult. Royal Canin is also good because it's made for yorkies. Get the size for petite breeds. Good luck.

I personally, not to offend anyone, do not like IAMs.. (www.iamscruelty.com) and Eukanuba. because of all the junk ingredients it contains. I do highly recommend if you want your dog on a high quality food, a few are: Innova EVO Canidae Karma California Natural Innova you can find more info www.naturapet.com if you want to know about ingredients to avoid in dog food: http://www.mordanna.com/dogfood/index.php?page=identify

I won't say Natural Balance is the best dog food. This is just my recommendation. We switched all 3 of our dogs to it about a month ago and I can tell some changes in them. The biggest and best change is in our Lhasa KoKo, she had bad skin problems and allergies and the food has cleared her skin up really good and helped with alot of her chewing and scratching from allergies. We feed them the dry dog food and we also give them a little bit of the dog food roll but only once a day.
