| It seems dogs love all foods wether it's good for them or not, lol. Eukanuba is not a great dog food at all. It's main grain is corn which is never recommended. Corn is just a filler and can cause allergies in dogs. I believe it also has meat "by-products" you don't even want to know what that is. It isn't for human consumption for sure. Go right here to find the best dog food. Read the reviews. Dog Food Reviews - Main Index - Powered by ReviewPost |

YT 1000 Club Member | When I got Roxie as a puppy at 10 weeks she was on Royal Canine puppy food. When she no longer needed the puppy food I put her on the Royal canine for Yorkies. She eats it just fine and has never ever had loose stools, tummy upsets, or a weight problem so I just stick with it. I had thought about switching her once and talked to a few people here about it and came to the conclusion that if it's working for her why change it! I can't keep the cat out of it and if I could it would probably last longer. He's a Garfield cat and loves to eat. I also found out it's $5.00 cheaper at Pet Supplies Plus then Pet Smart.

| Stormy ate Royal Canin for yorkies for about 2 weeks and then was done with it, the same with Natural Balance. Now she has been on BLU BUFFALO for small breeds and she LOVES IT and has been on it for about two months now, her hair and overall personality as changed drastically, I would recommend this food. I buy it at Petsmart, its a holistic food. |

| You can also buy Royal Canine in the small bites for toy dogs. That is what I buy because that way they can all eat it and its not just for one breed. I had been feeding Welliness and just heard some bad things about it. I also feed Inovia canned and they have a small kibble too. Mine are not picky. They are just little piggies. They haven't turned anything down yet. |

| Genghis does not like Royal Canine. He did like Chicken Soup for Dogs, and Science Diet. I didn't think he was a picky eater till trying royal canine. |

Jemma, Great link! Barley's food is on in the tops w/six stars ) It's Evo's beef small bites. I have tried Innvoa, Solid Gold, Before Grain and Wellness he didn't like any of them as much as he likes Evo. I think it's the beef ;o) My poodle on the other hand is like a little vacuum cleaner and eats all his left overs. LOL

You have to be super careful on the 6 star dog food. The protein content is too high for puppies or small breed. Some are even 40 percent protein or higher. They even tell you that in the review. And high protein is a no no for our Yorkie babies. I was going Wellness and Innova but decided today to try the 5 star Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover's Soul. yummy, she likes it, lol And I put her on the adult, low enough protein but yet enough for her. And she's a little over 5 months | |
