PUPPY SHOTS..??.Tyson sneezing more then usual... - YorkieTalk.com Forums

Tyson is 5 months old and I think all he has left to get is one of the bigger shots they break up into a few parts since its one of the big ones. The last time I took him was about 2 weeks ago and he does great when he gets them. Now this past time he went they gave him the one where they put it up his nose and I dont think I am being paranoid but he seems to be sneezing more then usual, sometimes he gets to sniffling and snorting I have to aks him if hes not part pug. I have no idea if the vaccine, if thats what you even call it since it goes up the nose, does anyonr have any info on thhis vaccine or have a yorkie that sounds like a pug. THANKS

The only one that is given through nasal that I know of is the bordatello and if you are not boarding your pupy you can request that they not get it if he has problems with it. They also have the bordatello in shot form and thats what my dogs get

Could be something in the air or area that is causing him to sneeze. What he got was Bordetella.....it's an Intranasa vaccine to protect him from Kennel Cough.....

Thanks for the info and yes looking at my shot records thts what it was..................I guess I will ask the vet about his noises he is making, I dont think its anyhing in the air............well maybe it is, but its just very random, but mainly whenever he wakes up he carries on with the sniffles,snorts,hacking and yackin............and then after that he seems to be OK , THANKS ALL.........CHRISTINE
