| Blood work for the neuter Pepper's getting neutered...wow, my little boy is already 6 months old!! . Anyways, I'm taking him in on Saturday to have his blood checked for any kidney/liver problems (pls keep your fingers crossed everything is ok). I forgot to ask the vet, should he eat before or not - it's in the morning ?? Does anyone know? Thanks !

| Hello. I am assuming you are asking if there are any restrictions on eating before the blood work. I recently had JoJo's pre-op blood work and we were not given any restrictions. On the neutering, I was told no food or water after 9 pm.

same here.. I just had Ruthie's bloodwork done, but we didn't know we were going to have it done that day so she had eaten that morning - no biggie. As for the neuter, no food after 9pm the night before. Good luck!
