| How does this food sound to you all? It's called Castor & Pollux Natural Ultra-Mix, I got the puppy one at Petco today. The first four ingredients are : Chicken, Turkey, Chicken Meal, Brewers Rice. There's no fillers, no by-products, no wheat, and no corn It sounded great to me It has dried fruits and veggies in it, flax, barley, DHA (like in Mother's milk) and no growth horomones. Anyway, here's the website, they don't list the ingredients on there and i'm too lazy to type them all out:P http://www.castorpolluxpet.com/produ...de623046ef3225But it's full of good stuff, with Omega 6 and 3 and all that stuff. Luna's not been eating any kibble, only the canned, dangit! But she's going to start getting mostly this food, with a little canned mixed in. She won't starve herself, will she? I'd really like her to eat this stuff, I'm getting tired of trying to find something she'll eat. This is the fourth kind of food. At least these kibbles are flat, maybe she'll be able to chew these better? |

I use Nutro Natural Choice Lamb & Rice, Wheat Free. Wheat bloats and gives your dog gas. Lamb is high in protein, Yorkies need alot of protien for the coats.

| Yes, the kibbles are small and flat. The other puppy foods I got were more like round pebbles. She actually at a piece of this, so I'm hoping......... The food is 28% protein, so I think that'll be sufficient. I read somewhere (can't remember where) that too high protein could lead to kidney problems. It's hard to sift through all the info out there sometimes, lol! Thanks for your input, I appreciate it! |
